Michael Chandler has something to say to Conor McGregor.

When the UFC was able to get Chandler and McGregor to agree serving as opposing coaches on season 31 of "The Ultimate Fighter," the idea was to book a fight between the two in 2023. That won't be happening now, as McGregor has not re-entered the USADA testing pool in time for a return to the Octagon this year.

Despite all the hoopla surrounding McGregor's fighting future, Chandler has remained optimistic. "Iron" has gone as far as to say that the only way he doesn't fight the "Notorious" one next is if the Irishman retires.

Michael Chandler was a guest on a recent episode of "The MMA Hour." During the program, the former three-time Bellator champion warned McGregor that even the most focused version of himself is in for a rude awakening when they share the Octagon.

"Get it figured out," Chandler said. "Make sure you come back the happiest and healthiest you have ever been, man, because this is going to be a huge fight. I do wish him well. He was moving around really well on 'The Ultimate Fighter.' I hope he's healed up, hope he's ready, hope he's focused, because like I said in that post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, I want the biggest, baddest, most dangerous Conor McGregor we've ever seen. So, I'm excited to compete, and like I said, I separate him from consciousness within the first two rounds."

As of now, there has been no word on when Chandler and McGregor will actually get to fight. McGregor has been poking at Chandler, telling him to shut his mouth because the fight will happen on his terms. Whenever the fight is announced, we'll be sure to have you covered on our homepage.
