UFC 299: Michael Page Details First Meeting With Dana White
Now that Michael Page has been formally introduced to Dana White, he has some thoughts on his interaction with the UFC CEO.
Page made waves in the MMA world when he attended a UFC event and took a picture with Dana. "MVP" continued to keep his name in the headlines, attending a PFL show and having a staredown with Cédric Doumbé. Ultimately, Page signed a deal with the UFC and is scheduled to fight Kevin Holland in his promotional debut on March 9, 2024.

During an appearance on "The MMA Hour," Michael Page discussed his first formal meeting with Dana White and the experience was a pleasant surprise for "Venom."
"So, I had actually crossed him a couple of times, but like I said, never really spoken to him," Page said. "Obviously, this time very different, formally introduced. It was nice, man. It's always different. I feel like similar to myself, he is a showman. When the cameras come on, he turns into this guy, and meeting him I was expecting to still see that guy. It's weird 'cause people are the same way with me, and he was so calm, so relaxed, so nice, so friendly. Kind of opposite from what I've been seeing on camera for many years. So, it was very, very nice."
It'll be interesting to see how long the bloom stays on the rose for Page's relationship with the UFC. One would imagine if "MVP" can produce highlight reel finishes inside the Octagon, the relationship will blossom. UFC 299 will mark Page's promotional debut, barring unforeseen circumstances.
