Paul Heyman will get his flowers in Philadelphia.

With WrestleMania 40 emanating from Lincoln Financial Field this year, many speculated that Heyman will be taking his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024. With the legacy that Heyman built in Philly, it was thought to be a no-brainer.

Clearly, WWE agrees with the fans.

WWE Raw Preview: Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax, Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso & More

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque made the announcement on his X account. The news was first reported by the Associated Press. Here's what he had to say about the legendary wrestling personality getting his due.

"He’s been a promoter, a manager, an executive, a “Wiseman,” and now, a  @WWE Hall of Famer. There’s more to say about @HeymanHustle, but as always, it’s best to let him say it himself… with a live microphone in Philadelphia. #WWEHOF."

Long before he became the "Special Counsel" of The Bloodline, Paul E. Dangerously was making phone calls while managing talent on the WCW roster. Soon, he'd be at the helm as the creative force behind ECW, which made Philadelphia its home. While ECW, as fans originally knew it, faded in 2001, the promotion is still looked back on fondly by wrestling fans.

Of course, Heyman has done wonders under the WWE umbrella, serving as not just an on-screen character, but an important figure backstage. Heyman's work in the wrestling industry can't be overstated, and most agree that now is the perfect time for "The Wiseman" to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

MMA Knockout would like to congratulate Paul Heyman on his Hall of Fame induction, and a stellar ongoing career on WWE TV.
