Sean O'Malley promises to take action against MMA managers.

O'Malley hasn't been shy in taking aim at management teams. The "Sugar" show handles his business dealings alone. He has expressed his belief that managers get paid by fighters for "not doing much," he told Ariel Helwani on "The MMA Hour" last year.

During a recent interview with TSN's Aaron Bronsteter, Sean O'Malley was asked about his tease of dropping a bombshell on MMA managers. O'Malley revealed what the hold up is.

"Yeah, I'm waiting to release it the right way," O'Malley said. "I think it'll be a big deal. It'll be massive and it will hurt someone's business, and rightfully so. So, I'm gonna put it out there the right way. I gotta talk to my legal team and make sure we're doing everything right."

O'Malley then detailed why he has no respect for what management teams are doing.

"MMA managers are so bad," O'Malley said. "It's horrible, it's embarrassing. They're stealing money from fighters. They're taking percentages of these guys' bonuses and that really pisses me off, to be honest. You go out there and win a bonus, you have a war, and these managers are trying to take a percentage of that?"

O'Malley said he will be fighting for the rights of his fellow MMA athletes. He expressed enthusiasm for what he plans to put out regarding managers.

Sean O'Malley will challenge Aljamain Sterling for the UFC Bantamweight Championship at UFC 292 on August 19. Visit the MMAKnockout.com homepage on fight night for VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS.
