O'Malley makes quite the statement on such a matchup.

Sean O'Malley has some thoughts on a possible showdown between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland.

Adesanya is the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion, while Strickland hovers near the top of the 185-pound division. With losses to Alex Pereira and Jared Cannonier, Strickland has fallen just below that upper echelon, but he still feels he should get a middleweight title opportunity.

Sean Strickland's sexist shtick blurs the line between promotional banter and outright misogyny.

Following his UFC Vegas 76 win over Abus Magomedov, Strickland said he's paid his due and is ready for that title shot. During an episode of the "BrOMalley Show," Sean O'Malley said he's in favor of the matchup.

"I'd watch that," O'Malley said. "Give Sean Strickland the fight with Izzy. Imagine if Sean Strickland goes out and takes him out. That would be f****** bonkers."

Given that Strickland is usually unfiltered with his trash talk, O'Malley is excited about the thought of him and Izzy at press conferences.

"The press conference would be good, everything would be so sweet," O'Malley said.

O'Malley, who is set to have his own title fight at UFC 292 on August 19, went on to make a bold statement on how we could see Adesanya vs. Strickland sooner rather than later.

"I think if Robert Whittaker wins, I think you give Sean Strickland the fight against Izzy," O'Malley said. "Then, Robert can fight the winner of that."
