Sean O'Malley was watching UFC 291 live and his reaction to the main event was captured on video.

Headlining UFC 291 was a rematch between former interim UFC titleholders Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier. "The Highlight" was looking to avenge his 2018 loss to "The Diamond," as well as capture the BMF title. Gaethje got what he was looking for, knocking Poirier out cold in the second stanza with a head kick.

Sean O'Malley was watching UFC 291 with his coach Tim Welch and some of his crew. "Sugar's" instant reactions to the fights were filmed for his YouTube channel. Just before Gaethje vs. Poirier began, O'Malley weighed in on what could happen.

"I think Justin is gonna come out new Justin and f*cking ━ but it doesn't matter," O'Malley said. "Dustin brings the dog out of mother*******."

Following the opening frame, O'Malley gave a brief assessment of what transpired.

"I don't know, that's a close round," O'Malley said. "Dustin backed up Justin."

The vibe in the room was completely different once Gaethje landed the unexpected head kick that put Poirier's lights out.

"Son of a lucky mother******," O'Malley reacted.
