Former interim UFC Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson found himself in trouble with the law, but it doesn't appear to have deterred him.

Ferguson was arrested in Hollywood at around 2 a.m. local time after he allegedly crash a pickup truck into two parked cars outside a nightclub. "El Cucuy" was booked into Hollywood Community Police Station for DUI after allegedly being uncooperative with police and refusing to take a field sobriety test, TMZ Sports reports.

Initially, Ferguson's bond was set at $30,000. He ended up being released from the police station on his own recognizance.

Ferguson has spoken for the first time since the incident. While he didn't address what transpired, "El Cucuy" did reveal that he's looking to get back inside the Octagon soon.

“I Accept The Challenge. Time To Fight Again Crew. Daddy Needs To Deal Some Damage- Champ-CSO."

Ferguson is in the midst of a five-fight skid. He hasn't won a bout since 2019. In his current slump, Ferguson has lost to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush, Michael Chandler, and Nate Diaz. "El Cucuy's" last victory was against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone, who is now retired from pro MMA competition.

Whether or not the 39-year-old can turn things around remains to be seen. At one point in time, it was rare to see Ferguson lose a fight, let alone be stopped. Of the five fights in his current losing streak, Ferguson has been finished three times. He suffered a TKO defeat to Gaethje, a brutal front kick KO against Chandler, and he was submitted by Diaz.
