UFC 295: Anthony Smith Makes Strong Prediction For Jiri Prochazka vs. Alex Pereira
Anthony Smith will be keeping a close eye on the UFC 295 main event between Jiri Prochazka and Alex Pereira.
In fact, the UFC analyst and top ten-ranked light heavyweight has a prediction for the upcoming vacant title fight. Many experts have this one as a tossup, but Smith feels comfortable with his pick.

Smith's fellow host of the "Believe You Me" podcast, Michael Bisping, made a strong prediction for the UFC 295 co-headliner between Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall. Smith has his own big prediction for the UFC 295 main event.
When asked by Ariel Helwani on "The MMA Hour" if he thinks Alex Pereira will defeat Jiri Prochazka inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, Anthony Smith had the following answer:
"I do," Smith said.
Smith and Pereira have developed a bit of a beef as of late. Pereira slammed Smith's analysis of his move up to the light heavyweight division. "Lionheart" felt Pereira's reaction was uncalled for given that he never disparaged "Poatan."
If Pereira captures the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, Smith believes his name could get called if "Poatan" wants to fight him bad enough.
"I definitely think there's a chance, for sure," Smith said. "I mean, especially if he wins, looks good doing it, wants a quick turn, I'm ready to go."
With that said, Smith understands that soon-to-be former UFC titleholder Jamahal Hill is ahead of him.
"If Jamahal's ready it's him," Smith said. "I couldn't expect to jump the line on him."
