Tom Aspinall is now the interim UFC heavyweight champion.

Aspinall and Pavlovich went one-on-one inside Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday night (November 11). With UFC heavyweight titleholder Jon Jones on the shelf with an injury, Aspinall vs. Pavlovich was booked for the interim gold.

Aspinall went low with the kicks, but Pavlovich hit him early with a power punch. Aspinall connected with a massive right hand, followed by another that dropped Pavlovich. He followed up with some ground punches and that was all she wrote.
