UFC 298 is now history, and fans have shared their reactions to the main event title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria.

The Honda Center in Anaheim, California played host to the UFC's second pay-per-view of 2024. Volkanovski was looking to make his sixth successful UFC Featherweight Championship defense.

Volkanovski had a slew of fan support inside the Honda Center. Boos rained down during Topuria's introduction. He certainly had his supporters during the fight, however. Many fans and experts were split going into this one.

It was Topuria who ended up walking out of Anaheim with the UFC Featherweight Championship.

Clearly there are Volkanovski fans who are saddened to see one of the greatest featherweights of all time suffer back-to-back losses. It's a happy moment for those in Spain and Georgia, as one of their own is a UFC champion.
