Sean O'Malley attended UFC 288 and got a close look at Aljamain Sterling, who will likely be his next opponent.

Sterling is the reigning UFC Bantamweight Champion, and he successfully defended his gold against Henry Cejudo via split decision. Many other pro MMA fighters were in attendance, including Bellator fighter Danis.

Just ahead of UFC 288, Danis posted a screenshot of a supposed DM he received from O'Malley calling for peace before potentially running into each other inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Many on social media were skeptical of Danis' screenshot and claimed he photoshopped the image. It's not the first time Danis has posted an alleged DM from O'Malley. Last year, he posted a screenshot of a DM with "Suga" that ended with Danis challenging him to a fight.

Speaking to "The Schmo," O'Malley discussed Danis' recent social media antics and he didn't mince words.

"He stayed clear away from this f***ing right hand," O'Malley said. "He knows better to come up on me. Conor gave me his number, you saw the text. He's doing his thing, he's trying. When you can't fight and you're not good at anything, you just try to ━ 'Who's the biggest name? The Schmo and Suga. I'm gonna use their names to try to get some clout.'

O'Malley insisted that he takes Danis' shenanigans in stride and the two are on different levels when it comes to relevancy.

"That's just his profession, if you wanna call it," O'Malley said. "That's his way of staying relevant. My way is knocking people out."
