UFC Lightweight Michael Chandler Reacts To Conor McGregor's USADA Spat
Michael Chandler has given his take on Conor McGregor being at odds with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).
Chandler and McGregor are expected to collide at some point this year, but USADA insists that the "Notorious" one must undergo a six-month testing period before he can return to the Octagon. McGregor labeled USADA a "garbage organization" in a since-deleted tweet back in March.

Speaking to Brett Okamoto of ESPN, Chandler commented on the situation.
"Conor says one thing, USADA says another," Chandler said. "I think it's, you know, as we like to see, Conor publicly be in spats with whether it be Dana [White] here and there or whether it be other people here and there, sponsors here and there, people that don't even make sense for him to be picking fights with, different weight classes, different organizations, all kinds of stuff. It's all just a big show, honestly."
With that said, Chandler believes that McGregor should be allowed to fight without issue if he can provide two clean drug tests.
"I don't know what the understanding is," Chandler said. "I could see it very well being just two clean tests. I have no problem with it being two clean tests. I could care less. If you do two clean tests, sounds to me like you're clean. I mean, at this point, who am I to say what the stipulations are, but obviously yeah I'm ready for him to be cleared or at least get that answer, but at this point we don't have an answer."
McGregor and Chandler are opposing coaches on season 31 of "The Ultimate Fighter" (TUF 31). The season opener will air on ESPN on May 30.
