Bellator returns to Ireland on September 23 with a solid main card headlined by a middleweight title fight, but before that the event features a loaded prelim card that includes a total of 16 fights.

Bellator 299 is set to take place at Dublin's 3Arena and will see Johnny Eblen attempt to defend his middleweight title for a second time when he meets Fabian Edwards in the main event. The co-main event features Aaron Pico taking on Pedro Carvalho in a featherweight bout that could see the highly-touted Pico move closer towards a Bellator title shot.

The event’s prelims are due to start five hours before the main card to accommodate for the staggering number of fights scheduled. Standout matchups from the prelims include a lightweight bout between Mansour Barnaoui and Jay Jay Wilson, as well as unbeaten Khasan Magomedsharipov taking on Piotr Niedzielski.
