Social media megastar Jake Paul has shared his thoughts on Francis Ngannou's deal with PFL.

Ngannou, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion, had been testing the free agency market since January. "The Predator" and the UFC could not come to terms on a new contract, and Ngannou had his share of talks with other promotions.

When ONE Championship and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) publicly revealed they were out of the Ngannou sweepstakes, some questioned whether or not the top heavyweight should've remained a UFC fighter. As it turns out, Ngannou got the deal he was looking for with PFL.

Jake Paul, who is also a PFL fighter in the "PPV Super Fight Division," took to social media to chime in on the big news.

"Francis, welcome to the PFL," Paul said. "Everybody, it is official. This is massive, massive, massive, massive news in MMA. We have some huge fights on the horizon. Congratulations Francis, you deserve this. The best heavyweight in the f*cking world to the PFL, and PFL Africa is gonna be massive. So excited, let's go

Fight fans shouldn't expect Ngannou to make his PFL debut until mid-2024, per The New York Times. "The Predator" plans to have a boxing match later this year before getting back inside the cage.

This is a massive deal for Ngannou, as he has equity in the PFL and will be the Chairman of PFL Africa. Financial terms of the contract haven't been revealed, but Ngannou says it's worth more money than the competition offered.
