VIDEO: Josh Taylor & Teofimo Lopez Get Heated During Weigh-Ins
Josh Taylor and Teofimo Lopez had to be separated for their weigh-ins staredown.
Taylor and Lopez will collide this Saturday night (June 10). Taylor's WBO and The Ring junior welterweight gold will be on the line. The action emanates from the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
A lot has been made about this matchup and the pre-fight build. Some have become worried about the mental state of Lopez after the former undisputed lightweight champion said he planned to take "The Tartan Tornado's" life on fight night.
Lopez's comments appear to have irked Taylor, who even walked out of one of his remote sitdown interviews with Top Rank while "The Takeover" was talking. Taylor certainly kept that fire during the weigh-ins.
