Errol Spence Jr. vs. Terence Crawford provided a stunning result.

Spence and Crawford collided inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 29. The winner would earn the distinction of being the unified welterweight champion of boxing. Spence was putting the WBC, WBA, and IBF gold up for grabs, while trying to take the WBO title from Crawford.

Things got a little testy between the camps of Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford at the final press conference for the fight. The tension did cool down, however during the weigh-ins, and both men were cordial and had some light competitive words for one another.

As expected, Spence planned to utilized his power jab in the early going. Crawford demonstrated the same patience he's been known for in the opening frame, but he would soon turn up the heat.

In the second round, Crawford dropped Spence with a jab. In the next few rounds, "Bud's" counter punching proved to be highly effective against "The Truth." Spence's eye was swelling up fast and his face showed damage early.

Then in the seventh round, Crawford's counter punching earned him another knockdown. Just before the end of the round, "Bud" landed another hard punch that sent his opponent to the canvas a third time.

In the ninth round, Crawford swarmed a clearly hurt Spence and referee Harvey Dock had seen enough. "Bud" is your undisputed welterweight champion.
