UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has some choice words for newly-minted PFL fighter Francis Ngannou.

Jones and Ngannou have traded barbs on social media after "The Predator" announced his signing with PFL. While many have been congratulatory towards Ngannou, "Bones" appears to be bothered that he ultimately didn't get a chance to throw leather with the lineal heavyweight champion.

Jones had some strong words for Ngannou during an interview his teammate, Maurice Greene, had with MMA reporter Alex Behunin. Watch as Jones crashed the party, much to the delight of Greene:

"Francis is a p*ssy, and always gonna be a p*ssy," Jones said. "With all that muscle."

While the trash talk between Jones and Ngannou has been a fun distraction for fight fans before another major event takes place, it's kind of moot at this point. The UFC doesn't play nice when it comes to cross-promotion, so it's likely that fans can rule out Jake Paul's wish of a UFC vs. PFL event featuring Jones vs. Ngannou.

UFC fans are hoping Jones will put his UFC Heavyweight Championship on the line against Stipe Miocic later this year. UFC President Dana White told reporters that the plan is to book the fight inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. Whether or not the title bout will come to fruition remains to be seen.

As for Ngannou, he isn't expected to make his PFL debut until mid-2024. Instead, "The Predator" plans to have a boxing match later this year.
