Adam Copeland, known as Edge in WWE, made a jump of his own, aligning with Tony Khan's company.
Now, we know a little bit more about the contract status of a former WWE champion, who is currently in a pivotal spot on TV.
WWE Rumors: Massive Update On SummerSlam 2024 Location
Much has been made about the WWE contract status of Drew McIntyre. PWInsider is reporting that despite rumors, "The Scottish Warrior" has not yet signed a new deal with the top wrestling promotion. The report notes, however, that McIntyre is indeed expected to eventually sign an extension.
McIntyre's contract is set to expire after WrestleMania.
Furthermore, the report also mentioned that Drew wasn't putting on an act when he revealed he suffered a ruptured eardrum during the men's Elimination Chamber match. It's a legitimate injury, but McIntyre appears to be fine, as he's scheduled to have a match with Jey Uso on the March 5th episode of Monday Night Raw.
McIntyre will be challenging Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. There are a number of ways that match can go depending on whether or not Drew puts pen to paper before "The Showcase of the Immortals."
