The wrestling industry has been hit hard with injuries and inactivity for some key stars. More recently, it was was reported Asuka suffered a knee injury during a recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Hopefully, the injury isn't serious.
In the case of another WWE superstar, however, the reason is unknown.
Major WWE Champion Reportedly Suffers Injury on SmackDown Before WrestleMania 40
In a new report from PWInsider, it was claimed that WWE Monday Night Raw superstar Raquel Rodriguez has been put on the inactive list. It is unclear whether this is due to something injury related or a health issue.
While it could be unrelated, it's important to note that Rodriguez nearly missed the Elimination Chamber 2024 event due to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Raquel had a flare-up while on the plane, but she was able to fulfill her spot in the women's Chamber match.
Rodriguez's last match was on the February 26th episode of WWE Raw. She pinned Chelsea Green inside the SAP Center in San Antonio, Texas. She was interviewed later that night for a WWE Digital Exclusive where she discussed what could be in store on her path to WrestleMania 40.
We'll keep you posted with the latest updates on Raquel Rodriguez once those details become available.
