The 2024 Royal Rumble event is set to go down tonight, and fans get to whet their appetite with a live stream of the kickoff.

This year's Rumble show will have a ton of eyeballs thanks to the return of CM Punk. WWE has made it a point to keep Punk as a special attraction since his shocking arrival to close the Survivor Series PLE back in November 2023.

Standing in Punk's way will be 29 other superstars vying for a chance to headline WrestleMania 40 inside at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA. One of those superstars is Cody Rhodes, who won last year's men's Royal Rumble match, but did not get to finish his story after being pinned by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

Of course, we can't discuss the Royal Rumble event without talking about the ladies. There are two key storylines going into the women's Rumble match this year. Becky Lynch appears to be at a crossroads after suffering a bloody loss against Nia Jax on the Day 1 edition of WWE Raw. She hopes to get a measure of revenge on Jax, but more importantly, win the Royal Rumble.

Then, we have Bayley. It's no secret that WWE has been staging Bayley's inevitable exit from Damage CTRL. She has been at odds with her stablemates Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, Asuka, and the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion IYO SKY. Will she outlast 29 other ladies, or could her fellow faction members cost her? Could she cost a member of Damage CTRL?

There figures to be many twists and turns, as well as potential surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble match. Before the PLE event airs live on Peacock, you can catch a live stream of the Royal Rumble Kickoff beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
