WWE SmackDown Preview: The Rock & The Bloodline Respond To Cody Rhodes Challenge

WWE SmackDown figures to have high drama tonight.

A crucial episode of WWE SmackDown on the road to WrestleMania 40 will be taking place tonight.

The March 1, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The Rock is set to respond to the challenge made by Cody Rhodes for a one-on-one match. Dwayne Johnson won't be alone, as he will be joined by the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the rest of The Bloodline.

Cody threw down the challenge for a singles match with The Rock during the Elimination Chamber 2024 PLE. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was with him on the show and he reminded "The American Nightmare" that he'll be fighting by his side.

Rhodes will be in attendance for tonight's episode of SmackDown, and it looks like he may have backup. It's been reported that Rollins will also be in the building, so it's safe to assume there will be high drama.

There are also two matches announced for the show.

The 2024 women's Royal Rumble winner Bayley is set to team with Dakota Kai to take on the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors. Many are wondering if Dakota is truly on Bayley's side, or if she'll turn on her to reveal she's still onboard with Damage CTRL. We could get the answer tonight.

There will also be a Street Fight. Santos Escobar will collide with Carlito, as the rivalry between Legado Del Fantasma and LWO continues.
