A big episode of WWE SmackDown takes place tonight in Salt Lake City.

Many have been waiting to hear what The Rock will have to say after an incident that took place at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press event in Las Vegas. After some words were exchanged between Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on family lineage, Dwayne Johnson slapped Cody across his face.

There was also a run-in backstage after the incident. The Rock warned WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque to fix the Cody problem or The Bloodline will. During last week's episode of WWE SmackDown, Triple H fired some shots at The Rock, saying he doesn't have any real authority in WWE despite being a member of the Board of Directors.

What will transpire on the blue brand tonight?

Elimination Chamber 2024: Update On WWE Ticket Sales For PLE Event In Perth

Also set for tonight's episode of SmackDown will be four Elimination Chamber 2024 qualifying matches. WWE United States Champion Logan Paul will take on The Miz for a spot in the Chamber, while Kevin Owens and Dominik Mysterio fight for their place.

Over on the women's side, Naomi will face Alba Fyre, while Tiffany Stratton meets Zelina Vega in the other two qualifiers. Stratton was initially set to face Shotzi, while Naomi was booked against Zelina. Plans changed after Shotzi suffered what appears to have been a knee injury during a recent WWE NXT taping.
