WrestleMania 40: Betting Odds For Roman Reigns vs. The Rock, Rhodes vs. Rollins

Oddsmakers are already at work for WrestleMania 40.

WrestleMania season is in full swing, and early betting odds have surfaced.

Fans may not be too thrilled about it, but the fact remains that as of now, WWE is planning to have Roman Reigns vs. The Rock as the marquee match of WrestleMania 40. Where does that leave two-time Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes? Reports indicate he's expected to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship.

It all goes down beginning on night 1, which falls on April 6. Night two will be on April 7, and both shows are being held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.

So, how are the oddsmakers feeling two months ahead of the "Grandest Stage of them All?"

At this moment, Roman Reigns is a -500 betting favorite to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, per BetOnline. The Rock is a +300 underdog. Those odds may not come as much of a surprise to WWE fans. After all, The Rock hasn't had a true in-ring match since 2013, and no, we're not counting WrestleMania 32.

So, how does "The American Nightmare" fare on the big stage in 2024? Oddsmakers do believe that unlike WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes will walk out of this year's mega event with a world title. He is a -600 favorite to go over the +350 Seth Rollins. Keep in mind, this match is not official as of this writing.

But wait, there's more.

Bayley, who is the 2024 women's Royal Rumble winner, is a whopping -1250 betting favorite to take the WWE Women's Championship from IYO SKY. Poor IYO sits as a +550 underdog.

Much like Rhodes vs. Rollins, a Women's World Championship match between titleholder Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch is also not official yet. The match has still made its way to the betting table, and Ripley is a -400 favorite over the +250 Lynch.

It'll be interesting to see how these odds shifts and what changes will be made when we move closer to WrestleMania 40.
