The colossal tag team match for night one of WrestleMania 40 has been made official.

Last week, The Rock declined Cody Rhodes' challenge to a singles match on night one of WrestleMania 40. Instead, he proposed a counteroffer. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins were challenged to a tag team match against The Rock and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The deal is if "The People's Champion" and "The Tribal Chief" defeat Cody and Rollins, then Rhodes' title match against Reigns on night two of WrestleMania will be "Bloodline Rules." Cody would be able to avoid The Bloodline entirely if he and Seth emerge victorious.

On tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins accepted the challenge.

That means Rhodes will indeed risk having his night two title opportunity marred by The Bloodline. In the main event of WrestleMania 39 on night two, Cody was spiked by Solo Sikoa, leading Reigns to hit a monster Spear for the win. Solo would figure to play a huge role in the match if it becomes "Bloodline Rules."

Before SmackDown began, The Rock uploaded a video where he called Rhodes' dog Pharaoh a s***head. He also blasted Rollins for cackling and dancing. He went as far as to say Seth has no rhythm at all.

This further stoked the flames in this rivalry. Prior to the show, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis warned Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and The Bloodline that they would be thrown out of the building if things got hectic.

Aldis' efforts couldn't prevent Cody Rhodes from slapping The Rock for saying "The American Nightmare" was a mistake to the Rhodes family.
