Retired UFC Star Jorge Masvidal Rips Conor McGregor for Ongoing Absence From UFC

Jorge Masvidal is tired of seeing Conor McGregor call out fighters on the UFC roster when he still hasn’t made any progress on returning to active competition.
The “Notorious” is always happy to share his thoughts via Twitter, although more often than not he elects to delete his posts shortly after sending them out. McGregor was one of the many fighters who tuned in to watch UFC 291 last weekend, and after Justin Gaethje knocked out Dustin Poirier the Irishman delivered a simple prediction.

"I KO him one shot. Guarantee it" - McGregor declared after Gaethje's win.
Masvidal became the UFC’s first BMF champion when he defeated Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 244, and the 38-year-old was in attendance at UFC 291 in Salt Lake City to wrap the BMF belt around Gaethje’s waist after he defeated Poirier.
This certainly isn’t the first time that McGregor has taken a shot at one of the UFC’s top fighters, but this time "Gamebred" apparently took note of the remark and delivered a scathing response to the former two-division champion.

"(Conor McGregor) shut ur mouth you p***ing hot midget ur not cleared to fight. Talking about fighters going thru the grind and process. I bet you never say my name you scared" - Masvidal said.
Masvidal is retired but recently sparked speculation about a potential rematch between himself and Ben Askren, and whether or not his callout of McGregor is serious, the point about “Mystic Mac” not being cleared to fight is a simple fact as long as the UFC continues working with its anti-doping partner USADA.
McGregor’s last win came when he defeated Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in 40 seconds at UFC 246, and the Irishman hasn’t competed since a broken leg ended his trilogy fight with Poirier at UFC 264 more than two years ago.

Some have speculated the 35-year-old’s well-publicized absence from the USADA testing pool may or may not be related to methods used to recover from his leg injury, but that hasn't been proven. An apparent unwillingness to participate in the UFC’s drug testing program has seemingly eliminated the chances of McGregor fighting his opposing The Ultimate Fighter coach Michael Chandler before the end of this year.
