UFC 297 Post-Fight Presser: Sean Strickland vs. Dricus Du Plessis (VIDEO)
UFC 297 kicks off the promotional pay-per-view schedule tonight (Jan. 20), headlined by a pair of championship fights.
In the main event, Sean Strickland tries to dispatch Dricus Du Plessis and successfully defend his middleweight title for the first time. Meanwhile, in the night's co-main event, the women's bantamweight title, previously held by recently retired Amanda Nunes, will be up for grabs. Raquel Pennington, a winner of five in a row since June 2020, will face Mayra Bueno Silva, with the winner likely facing Julianna Peña later this year.
The main card also features the likes of Neil Magny vs. Mike Mallott, Chris Curtis vs. Marc-Andre Barriault, and Arnold Allen vs. Movsar Evloev to round out the pay-per-view portion.

The prelims get underway at 7:45 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN+, headlined by a bantamweight bout between Brad Katona and Garrett Armfield. There are 12 bouts on the card, and as of Friday morning, Jasmine Jasudavicius vs. Priscila Cachoeira is now a bantamweight contest.
