UFC 298 has lost a scheduled matchup the day before the event goes down in Anaheim, CA.

One of the most highly-anticipated UFC cards in recent memory, UFC 298 is headlined by a massive featherweight title bout between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria.

The rest of the PPV main card also includes some huge bouts such as former champions Robert Whittaker and Henry Cejudo taking on Paulo Costa and Merab Dvalishvili, but unfortunately, it was announced on the UFC 298 Weigh-In Show that a prelim matchup between Justin Tafa and Marcos Rogério de Lima has been canceled due to injury.

The fight between Tafa and de Lima was the lone heavyweight bout scheduled for UFC 298, and the matchup would have given “Bad Man” a chance to add to his current streak of knockout victories.
