Dustin Poirier vs. Benoit Saint-Denis is still on after all, as UFC CEO Dana White goes off on a media member once again.

Poirier stunned the MMA community twice in a matter of hours. "The Diamond" hopped on X to claim that his UFC 299 fight against Saint-Denis had been off the table. When ESPN's Brett Okamoto reached out to Poirier, the former interim UFC champion said the following:

"There was no contractual agreement before the fight was announced and we couldn't come to terms," Poirier wrote via text message.

Well, here comes the big swerve.

As it turns out, Poirier vs. Saint-Denis will remain on the UFC 299 card. Here is Dustin Poirier's follow-up post on X

"Sorry folks, I jumped the gun, I couldn't get a hold of my manager for a few days. I just spoke with him and Hunter. Misunderstanding on my part. Fight is on! See you March 9th Miami!!!"

You can bet Dana White was paying attention to the news floating around, and he was not happy with one reporter in particular. The UFC boss singled out Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting.

Cruz uploaded a video clip of Benoit Saint-Denis' coach Daniel Woirin telling him he and his fighter had no knowledge of the Poirier fight before Dana announced it.

This set White off, as he took to Instagram Stories to post a text exchange between him and Saint-Denis in an attempt to prove the journalist wrong.

"Hey Guilherme Cruz, go f*** ur self scumbag," White said.
