The light heavyweight scrap between Jiří Procházka and Aleksandar Rakić has closed out the UFC 300 prelims.

Procházka and Rakić shared the Octagon inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 13th. For Procházka, this was an opportunity for the former UFC light heavyweight titleholder to remind fans that he's still right at the top of the 205-pound division. For Rakić, it was his chance to prove that he should undoubtedbly be next for a crack at the UFC hardware.

Ultimately, it was Jiří Procházka who walked out of "Sin City" with the victory.

Rakić was having success with his leg kicks. Prochazka's left leg was bruised up early. Jiri began to move forward as he realized he couldn't check the leg kicks. A right hand from Rakić landed followed by another.

Jiri landed a hard right hand and went for a flying knee near the end of the opening round.

The two exchanged in round two. Jiri went for a head kick and pressured his opponent. Rakić had a knee to the body and a left hand.

A right hand had Rakić all over the place. He stumbled down to the canvas, as Jiri rained down punches. Eventually, referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.

Winner: Jiří Procházka
