Alexander threatened an ankle lock before sprawling to his feet. Seragih gave the American no space, clubbing him with a thudding right hook as he got up. Alexander folded like a deck chair and hit the cage side, Seragih pounced on his hurt opponent, pinging Alexander's unconscious head like a pinball before the referee intervened.

Bouncing back from his February TKO defeat by Anshul Jubli, "The Death Kick" has now notched up four consecutive finishes, tallying fourteen professional wins --- thirteen of which are finishes.

Seragih is the first fighter of Indonesian origin to compete in the UFC:

"I fight because I want to help lift my people out of poverty and to inspire the young kids so that they are led away from the bad things in life," Seragih told the South China Morning Post.

With this stunning victory, Seragih could well be on the way to securing a performance of the night bonus, which puts him one step closer to bringing his people out of poverty.
