UFC News: Fighter Blasts Daniel Cormier Over Recent Commentary Work
UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier has received some flak from one fighter over his commentary.
Cormier has been one of the main voices at the broadcast desk in the UFC. Some fans have grown to enjoy hearing "DC" on the headset, but the former two-division UFC champion has taken some heat from fighters over the years for what they feel has been "biased" commentary.
Count Charles Johnson as one of those who have a bone to pick with "DC."

Johnson competed on the UFC Vegas 85 card this past Saturday. He shared the Octagon with the previously unbeaten Azat Maksum. Things were very dicey for Johnson in the opening frame, but he bounced back and ended up taking a unanimous decision victory to upset Maksum.
After the fight, Johnson had some criticism for Daniel Cormier, who was on the call for UFC Vegas 85. Here's what he had to say on his X account:
"Watching my fight and DC is riding my opponents sack so hard. He said during commentary I don’t defend using skill I use athleticism to escape things. Has he seen my fights?
"[Shout] out to @laura_sanko for always spitting real."
In the past, Cormier has addressed criticism from fighters on his YouTube channel. It'll be interesting to see if he has a response for Johnson, assuming he has already caught wind of the social media post.
