The UFC has been hard at work filling out its schedule for the first quarter of the year, with UFC 300 on April 13 being a particular point of focus for most combat sports fans.
The promotion will take several weeks off following that milestone event in Las Vegas before an expected return to Rio De Janeiro in May, and according to AG Fight former light heavyweight contender Paul Craig and Caio Borralho have verbally agreed to meet at that event.
Currently the UFC’s #12-ranked middleweight, Craig successfully debuted in the weight class last year when he stopped Andre Muniz before he was submitted by Brendan Allen when the two men headlined a UFC Fight Night event last November.

Borralho scored two wins in less than a month on Dana White’s Contender Series to punch his ticket to the UFC in 2021. “The Natural” has started his career in the promotion with an impressive 5-0 run that’s earned him the #15 spot in the UFC middleweight rankings.
Considering Craig is mainly known for his submission skills, a matchup with another talented grappler in Borralho could result in some entertaining exchanges on the mat and also give both men a chance to keep climbing the middleweight rankings if they do end up meeting in Brazil on May 4.
