On Monday, November 27, UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland found himself in a heated confrontation just outside of his home in Las Vegas.

CCTV footage from Strickland's home captured a man stumbling onto his driveway and collapsing near a car. In the video, Strickland can be seen rushing to the scene, as he believed the individual was attempting to commit theft:

In the footage, Strickland aims a handgun directly at the man's face. Strickland then follows the man to the street, where he forcefully pushes him over and apprehends him, all while holding the gun.

Strickland alleges that the man was fleeing from an assault he had committed:

"The guy was beating up a girl and fled drunk from security, wrecked his car, drove on the rim till it couldn't drive and took off on foot hiding at my house," Strickland remarked. "Had to turn himself into police in the morning."

No further developments have been made.

Between this incident and Jon Jones chasing away an intruder with a shotgun in 2020, some individuals aren't very fortunate. This is especially the case with Strickland who has openly bragged about wanting to take a man's life in the octagon.

"I would own that s***, too. I don't know if it would make me liable, I might have to say 'I'm sorry' if the cops came but I would own that s***," Strickland exclaimed after beating Uriah Hall in 2021. "Own it - Be a psychopath, it's f****** fun!"

"There was just something in me that knew that if I could just kill a human being, it would make me feel good for a short time," Strickland told The MMA Hour.
