UFC Fight Night Results & Highlights: Tybura Submits Tuivasa

Another heavyweight clash headlined the UFC's return to Las Vegas.

Following a massive PPV event in Miami, the UFC returned to Las Vegas on Saturday night for another Fight Night card at the UFC Apex facility.

The heavyweight main event saw fan-favorite Tai Tuivasa attempt to snap a three-fight skid when he took on #10-ranked Marcin Tybura. “Bam Bam” knocked out five opponents in a row after his last losing run, but his night ended early in Las Vegas when Tybura locked up a rear naked choke in the opening round.

The co-main event featured TUF 29 winner Bryan Battle taking on Ange Loosa in a welterweight contest. Both men entered the night having won back-to-back fights, but after a strong start from Battle the fight was declared a No Contest due to an eye poke in the second round.

Other notable results on the main card included Ovince St. Preux's successful return to earn a decision over Kennedy Nzechukwu, plus Gerald Meerschaert and Macy Chiasson both picked up big submission wins over Bryan Barberena and Panni Kianzad.
