Vinicius Oliveira has made a successful debut under the UFC banner by sparking Victor Madrigal out cold with a in the first round of their bout on Dana White's Contender Series.

"I knew the KO was going to happen in the first round because I have trained so hard for this," Oliveira remarked in his post-fight interview. "... No one can stop me, I promise, I will be the new champion."

The bout was fairly lopsided, with Oliveira exploiting Madrigal's susceptibility to low kicks. The power disparity was glaring, and a crisp 1-2-3 combination just three-minutes into the first round completely ragdolled Madrigal; Dana White was left speechless.

"Lok Dog", a former UAE Warriors champion, improves his record to 19-3-0, with an incredible 89% finish rate - 15 knockouts and two submissions. He'll likely be looking at a UFC contract with this victory, which will certainly put the bantamweight division on notice.

Oliveira's victory marks a fantastic start to week eight of DWCS, and that isn't all. The night plays host to a number of incredible fighters looking to make huge statements on the premier stage for mixed martial arts.
