Alibi Idiris added a highlight-reel knockout to his unbeaten record when he stopped Erisson Ferreira in the opening round of their bout in Naiza FC.

Kazakhstan is rapidly becoming a hotbed for up-and-coming talent in MMA, and Naiza FC has established itself as one of the top proving grounds for the country’s fighters.

Idiris has spent the entirety of his pro career competing for Naiza FC, and after handing Alisson Silva his first loss in May the flyweight fought for the second time this year when he took on Ferreira at Naiza FC 56.

Ferreira exchanged some heavy strikes with the unbeaten fighter for as long as their bout lasted, but things came to an end just over halfway through the opening round when Idiris connected with a beautiful spinning heel kick (clip courtesy of the one and only @Grabaka_Hitman).

Idiris immediately dove onto the Brazilian and landed a couple of nasty follow-up punches before the referee jumped in to save Ferreira from sustaining any more punishment.

A veteran of Dana White’s Contender Series, Ferreira suffered a submission loss to Davi Bittencourt less than two weeks before he made his Naiza FC debut against Idiris in his fifth fight of the year.

Now 9-0 as a professional, Idiris ended the year on a high note with his incredible knockout victory and has likely set himself up for some big opportunities in Naiza FC heading into next year.

Naiza FC 56 was the promotion’s final event of 2023 and closed out a busy year that included a number of other highlight-reel wins, as well as the promotional debut of UFC veteran Zhalgas Zhumagulov earlier this month.
