Ken Sekeletu added another first-round finish to his personal highlight reel with the quick victory he scored at Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) this week.

“The Takeover” made his pro debut for the top South African promotion in July and stopped Warren Richards with strikes just over halfway through the first round. Sekeletu was then booked to fight at EFC 108 against Andile Gasa, who was competing in MMA for the first time since 2016.
The two featherweights opened the main card of EFC 108 in Sandton, South Africa, and it took less than a minute for Sekeletu to end things with a vicious kick to the body (video courtesy of the one and only @Grabaka_Hitman):

The Zambian fighter missed an initial high kick attempt before he folded Gasa with an audible shot to the midsection and followed up with a few hard left hands on the ground to make sure the bout was over.
Sekeletu has now earned stoppages in an impressive six out of seven victories across his amateur and pro careers, and the only time he’s tasted defeat so far was his final amateur matchup at last year’s IMMAF Africa Championships.
The violent result capped off a run of four-straight finishes at EFC 108, and in the night’s main event Terence Balelo claimed EFC’s interim bantamweight title with a decision victory over Musa Sethwape.
EFC has firmly established itself as one of the premier proving grounds for rising MMA talent in Africa, and if Sekeletu is able to keep stopping opponents in this brutal fashion he could join former EFC champions Dricus Du Plessis and Cameron Saaiman in the UFC one day.
