Snickers continues to extend itself into the NIL space with its recent deals with Ohio State tight end Cade Stover and Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman, per On3.com.

Both Stover and Stutsman touted their new deals on their Instagram pages, as part of Snickers’ Rookie Mistake of the Year campaign. NFL players Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers and T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers are also part of the campaign.

Stover posted a photo of him holding a Snickers bar in his pickup truck to open his part of the campaign, with a caption that read “If you make the mistake forgetting about gameday traffic getting to the tailgate, grab a @snickers #snickersrookiemistakes.”

The rest of the caption asks users to share their “rookie gameday mistakes” on the Snickers web site, which will enter them in a contest for an on-field experience at Super Bowl XLVIII in Las Vegas.

Stover has emerged as one of the best tight ends in college football in 2023.

Stutsman has turned into one of the best linebackers in the college game and he made waves earlier in October with an NIL T-shirt that poked at Texas after the Sooners’ Red River Rivalry win over the Longhorns, and even got coach Brent Venables to pose with him. The T-shirt featured Stutsman smoking a cigar in the locker room after the win.

Stutsman went so far as to create a video clip with a mock film session in which a Snickers helps solve a problem.

“Satisfying tackles and satisfying cravings with SNICKERS! 🏈 🍫 Gameday without @SNICKERS is a Rookie Mistake,” read the caption.

South Carolina’s DK Joyner is also part of the campaign.
