Colorado's Sanders Brothers Use NIL Earnings to Gift Dad Deion a House
Shedeur and Shilo Sanders of Colorado are putting their NIL money to good use. The Colorado quarterback has the second-highest NIL valuation, according to On3, sitting at $4.7 million. Shilo, a defensive player for the Buffaloes, has the 17th-highest NIL valuation at $1.1 million.
The earnings have come flooded in for the Sanders brothers in big part to their father Deion being one of the greatest football players ever. Shedeur and Shilo are also impressive players on the field, but the name certainly holds weight.
To show Deion appreciation, the Sanders kids, including Deion Jr., bought him a home. Deion was appreciative of the thought and had the following to say in Deion Jr's Well Off Media YouTube video.
"For y'all three just to want to put it together, so you'll make sure I'm straight when y'all gone is unbelievable son... It almost provokes a tear. ... my three sons, want to do for this for me, wow. This is awesome."
Deion now has a new home close to the Colorado campus thanks to his three boys.
Shedeur and Shilo are expected to play one more season for the Buffaloes before entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Deion, however, signed a five-year deal with the school in December of 2022.
Deion is coming off a 4-8 record in their first season with him as the head coach. They started 3-0 but dealt with injuries and other factors for the remainder of the year. As they approach the 2024 season, the expectation is for Colorado to be better than they were a year ago.
