Wisconsin guard AJ Storr is in the transfer portal for the second straight offseason and this time around he reportedly has a price in NIL money.

According to a report from Prep Scouting’s Chas Wolfe, Storr was talking to Kansas, one of the top programs in the country, about transferring to the Jayhawks.

Per Wolfe, Storr was looking for $1 million in NIL money to transfer. Kansas reportedly countered with $750,000.

So guess what Storr isn’t doing, at least not right now? Transferring to Kansas.

Kansas athletics is supported in the NIL space part by the Mass St. Collective, which just received a $1 million anonymous donation and then used that donation to try and raise another $1 million in donations.

So, one could see why even Kansas might balk at that price.

Storr is coming off a season in which he was named All-Big Ten Second Team and to the All-Big Ten Tournament team. He averaged 16.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and nearly an assist per game for the Badgers before he hit the transfer portal.

Storr reportedly has other suitors, including Wisconsin’s Big Ten rival, Illinois, along with another blue blood program, Kentucky.

Storr has already been a solid contributor at two different universities in his first two college seasons.

He started his career at St. John’s, where he earned Big East All-Freshman team selection after he averaged 8.8 points and shot 40.4% from the 3-point line. After the coaching change to Rick Pitino, Storr hit the portal and ended up at Wisconsin.

Storr played prep basketball at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nev., and a postgraduate season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.. He was rated a four-star recruit coming out of high school.
