In this story:

It’s not every day that someone gets a Lamborghini. It’s definitely not every day that the potential purchaser is a college student.

Ok, in this case it was a college football player, but still, a Lamborghini goes for what, $300,000 these days?

Well, it appears that Georgia quarterback Carson Beck may have treated himself to a Lamborghini Urus Performante. A quick Google search reveals that the car goes for a range between $237,000 to nearly $270,000, per Kelley Blue Book.

An Instagram post from Atlanta Autos featured Beck with what appeared to be a Lamborghini and touting Beck as the car’s recipient.

Shoutout to @carsonbeck. Came through and got not the regular Lamb Truck but the #PERFORMANTE

It’s not clear what “get” means in this context. There was no touting of a Name, Image or Likeness deal, as usually happens in that case. The post doesn’t implicitly state that Beck purchased the car.

But if there’s no NIL deal to tout, then one can take an intuitive leap?

From an NIL perspective, On3.com gives him a $1.3 million valuation. That is not an indication of how much Beck is making off NIL, but he has reported deals with Zero FG Energy, Leaf Trading Cards, Associated Credit Union and The Players’ Lounge.

But no reported deals with an auto dealership.

The Georgia quarterback passed on the 2024 NFL Draft to return to Georgia for the 2024 season, one that should see the Bulldogs contend for the SEC title and a spot in the expanded College Football Playoff.

Beck was the starter for the first time in 2023, succeeding Stetson Bennett, and led the Bulldogs to a 12-1 record in the regular season, with the only loss coming in the SEC Championship Game to Alabama. He threw for 3,738 yards and 22 touchdowns. He led the Bulldogs to a win in the Orange Bowl over Florida State, 63-3.
