Georgia's Star-Studded Recruiting Class Gets NIL Deal
Top Tier Authentics is expanding its partnership with the University of Georgia football team to include merchandise that will help support Name, Image and Likeness efforts with its 2024 recruiting class.
In December Georgia - along with Michigan and Tennessee - agreed to memorabilia deals with Top Tier that would generate NIL money for its football players. The collections of licensed team memorabilia - including signed jerseys, posters, footballs, and the Speedflex Helmets that players wear on the field - is available in the Amazon Fanshop.
Georgia announced its first wave of team-signed merchandise in early January. The next wave are members of its new recruiting class, which is considered by many to be the top class in the country.
Coach Kirby Smart is involved, along with new Bulldogs like running back Trevor Etienne, defensive back Ellis Robinson and defensive back KJ Bolden.
Other players on the list include quarterback Ryan Puglisi, wide receiver Nitro Tuggle, wide receiver Sacovie White, wide receiver London Humphreys, wide receiver Colbie Young, wide receiver Michael Jackson, tight end Jaden Reddell, offensive lineman Daniel Calhoun, offensive lineman Malachi Toliver, offensive lineman Nyier Daniels, offensive lineman Marques Easley, defensive back Demello Jones, defensive lineman Nnamdi Ogboko, linebacker Justin Williams, linebacker Kristopher Jones, defensive lineman Xzavier McLeod, defensive lineman Jordan Thomas, defensive back Ondre Evans, outside linebacker Quintavius Johnson and outside linebacker Chris Cole.
The signed merchandise options will be the same for the new group.
Each piece of merchandise comes with a digital certificate of authenticity, along with a QR code that gives the purchaser access to a video of the student-athlete signing the item.
In addition, there is content about the history of the item signed and redeemable benefits that lead to social activations through Top Tier’s own authenticity assurance technology.
