Iowa Star Clark Stars in New State Farm Commercial
With a top-5 ranking, 12-1 record and nation-leading 30.5 points per game average, Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes are rolling heading into 2024.
Off the court, Clark's NIL portfolio continues to expand. With her recent Gatorade partnership, ESPN's top-ranked women's college basketball player adds to her brand roster of Nike, Bose and State Farm, among others.
As the first college athlete to collaborate with State Farm, Clark has been appearing in TV commercials over the last month featuring star pro athletes. The brand recently launched their latest "Shoot!" spot featuring Clark alongside, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat, NBA legend Reggie Miller and Jake from State Farm. This commercial is part of State Farm's “The Right Kind of Magic” campaign.
Clark spent Christmas watching fellow State Farm endorser Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs fall to the Las Vegas Raiders. She had a pre-game jersey exchange with Chiefs rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice.
In conjunction with her joining State Farm earlier this season, Clark shared her thoughts.
“State Farm is a team that looks out for others, which is exactly the kind of legacy I want to leave beyond the basketball court,” Clark said. “I’m honored to be the first college athlete to join the Good Neighbor team - in khakis of course - and look forward to growing the women’s game together.”
Clark - who signed with Excel Sports Management prior to the season - recently finished second in voting for The Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year, behind Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.
The No. 4-ranked Hawkeyes next host Minnesota on Saturday.
