Kansas State athletics announced on Thursday that Wildcat NIL will be be the school’s official Name, Image and Likeness collective.

In selecting an official collective, Kansas State is following in the footsteps of other Big 12 schools, along with other power conference programs, that have selected a collective to be their official partner.

Wildcat NIL is independently owned and operated and has support from a large group of former student-athletes at Kansas State. Through its web site and partnerships, Wildcat NIL offers comprehensive services to student-athletes and cultivates donations in a variety of ways, including one-time donations and monthly memberships.

"Name, image and likeness continues to evolve and be a big part of the current landscape of college athletics, and it was very important for us as a department to partner with a collective so we can provide our student-athletes every opportunity to benefit from NIL," K-State athletic director Gene Taylor said in the release. "Wildcat NIL has taken enormous strides over the past year to help our student-athletes any way possible, and we are pleased to recognize them as our official partner for NIL."

Per its web site, Wildcat NIL works with all student-athletes, even walk-ons. The partnership also allow K-State student-athletes to leverage Wildcat NIL’s partnerships with Charlie Hustle, Manhattan Brewing Company, Western National Bank, Our City Coffee, Fit Nation Fitness and Stashlete.

Wildcat NIL also has its own store which features signature “Beef” hats for the Wildcats’ offensive line.

Among the programs that should benefit from the partnership is the women’s basketball team, which is ranked No. 4 in the country in the AP poll.
