Rock 'Em Socks Celebrates Travis Hunter Day

Colorado All-American and NIL star launches socks and underwear collection

While Fanatics Collectibles and Topps celebrated NFL legend Tom Brady on December 12 (12/12), college football's top No. 12 - Colorado star Travis Hunter - had a moment of his own, through a NIL partnership.

On the 12th, one of Hunter's many brand partners - Rock 'Em Socks - debuted a full collection of custom socks and underwear featuring the face, jersey number and "I'm Him" saying of the Buffaloes' all-everything player.

Rock 'Em claims to be the world's largest sock store and has licensed agreements with Colorado, NFL, NBA, Disney, Marvel and more.

Although Colorado's season ended with a six-game losing streak, the wide receiver/cornerback/kick returner Hunter's individual play transcended the team's struggles.

The two-way player earned first-team All-American honors by the Associated Press and Football Writers Association of America, becoming the first All-American Colorado player in 13 years and first all-purpose player in program history.

Despite missing three and a half games due to injury, Hunter played more snaps from scrimmage than any player in the FBS. He finished with 57 receptions for 721 yards and five touchdowns plus 30 tackles and three interceptions on defense.

Hunter's NIL game was strong last year as a freshman at Jackson State - after making a name for himself as a 5-star high school recruit - but hit another level after transferring to Colorado, ignited by the polarizing impact Coach Deion Sanders made on the program and college landscape overall.

Now with 1.2 million Instagram followers and an engaging audience on his Bleacher Report podcast, Hunter continues to expand his NIL portfolio.

In addition to Rock 'Em Socks, Hunter boasts NIL partnerships with the likes of Celsius, HEYDUDE, Fortnite, American Eagle and 7-Eleven, among others.

Heading into the 2024 season, Hunter will certainly be among the top NIL earners in all of college sports and on the way-to-early shortlist of Heisman Trophy candidates.
