Top Nebraska Recruit Raiola Signs First NIL Deal with Panini
Fresh off of making the most talked about commitment flip in this year's class, Nebraska's future quarterback Dylan Raiola has signed his first NIL deal.
A day after putting pen to paper with the Cornhuskers, Raiola shared news on Thursday that he has signed an exclusive multi-year trading card deal with Panini America.
“I am really excited to celebrate this next stage of my career by partnering with Panini,” Raiola shared in a press release. “Being on a trading card is a dream, and I am proud to be part of the Panini team.”
Raiola joins a robust NIL roster of Panini athletes that includes Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers of Texas, Caleb Williams and Zachariah Branch of USC, Michael Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze of Washington and Joe Milton of Tennessee, among others. Panini recently made history by signing fellow Cornhusker - three-time volleyball All-American - Lexi Rodriguez to a NIL partnership.
Panini’s partnership with Raiola will include autographed trading cards and marketing with his first trading cards expected to appear in the brand's upcoming collegiate products.
“Dylan is both an outstanding player and young man, and he is a natural fit to join the Panini family,” Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations added. “We are excited about his future as he enters the next phase and transitions to college and to share his Panini products with fans across the country.”
Raiola played his senior season at Buford High School (Buford, Georgia) where he threw for 2,819 yards and 34 touchdowns.
The son of former Nebraska and NFL offensive lineman Dominic, Dylan Raiola flipped to the Cornhuskers from Georgia, where he committed to in May 2023. Raiola had previously committed to Ohio State a year earlier.
