Despite rumors of a pending coaching change at UCLA, All-American outside linebacker Laiatu Latu heads into the holiday season with a ton of momentum as a Lombardi Award Finalist, top NFL Draft prospect and with a new NIL deal to his name.

Ahead of early Black Friday sales kicking off this weekend and UCLA's crosstown rivalry game against USC -  Latu stars in a new commercial for the top online-only electronics retailer in North America, Newegg. In the spot, the Bruin star promotes Seagate products, a world leader in data storage technology and solutions.

"When I’m looking for tech products, I shop online at Newegg because they have everything I want. And to back up my digital files, I use a Seagate drive," said Latu. "This has been an amazing year for me both on the football field and on campus. Joining Newegg and Seagate to promote their holiday sales is another great milestone."

Latu - who leads the country in tackles for loss per game and ranks fourth in sacks per game - is also a Bednarik Award and Lott IMPACT Trophy semifinalist.

"‘Disruptor’ and ‘game changer’ are used in the tech industry to describe a person who is innovative and unique, but those terms also describe Laiatu Latu in a college football game. He can make a major impact on the game’s outcome," said Eric Wein, Director of Public Relations for Newegg. "Newegg and Seagate are aligning with a player described as an ‘unstoppable force’ because we want to connect with Latu’s drive for success."

Latu is the second Bruin athlete to sign with the Southern California-based brand after former UCLA basketball star Jaylen Clark - now a rookie with the Minnesota Timberwolves - partnered with Newegg during March Madness in the Spring.

The 6-4 Bruins face off against the 7-4 Trojans on Saturday at 3:30 PM ET on ABC.
