USC Collective House of Victory Tips Off NIL Campaign for Women's Basketball
Ahead of No. 1 seed USC women's basketball beginning their quest for a National Championship, the school's official collective - House of Victory - has tipped off a NIL fundraising campaign to support the Women of Troy.
The collective's Dancing Into March Madness campaign is offering supporters personalized messages from the team, autographed memorabilia and exclusive items including signed limited-edition SLAM Magazines and shirts commemorating the appearance of All-American guard and National Freshman of the Year, Juju Watkins on the magazine’s cover.
An anonymous USC donor has offered to match contributions to the campaign dollar-for-dollar up to $50,000.
“We hope each and every one of our fans step up and show their support for this team through the Dancing Into March Madness campaign,” said USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb. “I’m so proud of what they’ve accomplished so far this season and can’t wait to watch them play in the NCAA Tournament. Your support ensures that this level of success is the standard for our program.”
House of Victory recently hosted a donor reception following the Women of Troy’s Selection Sunday show watch party where supporters had the opportunity to meet and mingle with student-athletes, get autographs, take photos with the Pac-12 Tournament trophy and hear first hand from the team during a student-athlete panel. Funds from the Dancing Into March Madness campaign will continue to support NIL opportunities for every member of the team.
“We are so proud of this team and these student-athletes for how they’ve come together throughout the season. This is a perfect opportunity for the Trojan Family to get behind Coach Gottlieb’s No. 1 seeded program,” said House of Victory Executive Director, Spencer Harris. “Every Trojan fan can contribute to the continued success of this team and make a direct impact for our student-athletes.”
The Women of Troy are having a historic season, winning the final Pac-12 Tournament and earning their highest AP ranking since 1986.
Watkins specifically has made her impact felt in a big way as a freshman. She finished the regular season as the nation's second-leading scorer - behind Iowa's Caitlin Clark - and earned numerous All-American, Freshman of the Year and National Player of the Year Runner-up honors.
The Women of Troy tip off the NCAA Tournament on Saturday against Texas A&M-CC and House of Victory's Dancing Into March Madness campaign will run until the conclusion of the women’s basketball season.
