On Friday night, the Golden State Warriors are hosting the Houston Rockets at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

For the game, they will remain without one of their best players, as Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out for the third straight contest due to personal reasons.

The former Kansas star is in the middle of another productive season with averages of 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 37 games.

He is also shooting 47.3% from the field and 39.6% from the three-point range.

Last season, Wiggins started in the All-Star Game and helped the Warriors defeat the Boston Celtics for the 2022 NBA Championship.

Before the Warriors played the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday evening, head coach Steve Kerr spoke about Wiggins (via Anthony Slater of The Athletic).

Slater Tweeted On Thursday night: "No timeline or added details on Andrew Wiggins’ absence from Steve Kerr. Away from the Warriors to deal with a family issue. Missed the last game before the break. Out tonight."

The Warriors come into the matchup with the Rockets 29-30 in 59 games (they lost 124-111 to the Lakers) and are tied with the Utah Jazz for the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

While they have been abysmal on the road (7-23), the Warriors are excellent on their home floor, going 22-7 in the 29 games they have hosted at the Chase Center.

As for the Rockets, they are the worst team in the west, with a 13-45 record in 58 games.
