Andrew Wiggins' Status For Warriors-Grizzlies Game

Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out for Saturday's game.

On Saturday night, the Golden State Warriors will be in Tennessee to face off with the Memphis Grizzlies.

They are on the second night of a back-to-back after losing 127-119 to Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena in Georgia.

The Warriors will remain without one of their best players for Saturday's matchup, as Andrew Wiggins has been ruled out due to personal reasons

The former Kansas star has missed each of the last 14 games, so this will be his 15th straight out of the starting lineup.

Before his absence from the team, Wiggins had been in the middle of another productive season.

The 2022 NBA All-Star has averages of 17.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest in 37 games.

He is also shooting 47.3% from the field and 39.6% from the three-point range.

Right now, the Warriors are 36-35 in 71 games, which has them tied with the Dallas Mavericks for the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

They are on a two-game losing streak and 5-5 in their last ten games.

On the road, the Warriors are just 7-28 in the 35 games they have played away from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

As for the Grizzlies, they are tied with the Sacramento Kings for the second seed in the Western Conference.

They have a 42-27 record in 69 games and are 6-4 in their last ten.

At home, the Grizzlies are an excellent 28-5 in 33 games hosted in Memphis, Tennessee.
